Florida’s housing market

Lot of people from New York, Chicago and colder climate areas are choosing Florida as their new home. Mainly from high tax areas so that they benefit no state income tax. Florida’s housing market continues to show momentum in January 2021 even with the ongoing pandemic according to the latest numbers released by Florida Realtors. Single family home sales increased by 18 percent compared to the previous year. The increase in condo and townhouse sales is 25 percent. The median sale price also increased over 15 percent to $305,000.
